Accelerate the application, research, and mastery of high technology.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Nguyen Le Hung, Deputy Director of the High Technology Department, Ministry of Science and Technology , stated that since 2008, the High Technology Law, enacted by the Vietnamese National Assembly, has encompassed various objectives and tasks; among them, "accelerating the application, research, mastery, and creation of high technology and high-tech products."

In addition, the Ministry of Science and Technology has also issued the National Program for High-Tech Development until 2030, applicable to many fields, focusing on key areas such as research and application of high technology in the economy , industry, and agriculture; incubation of high-tech enterprises, and high-quality human resources...

According to Mr. Nghiem Quoc Dat, Head of the High Technology Department, the 2020 High Technology Program produced many high-productivity projects such as the project "Research, development and mastery of the technology process for producing angioplasty balloons and drug-eluting stents using nanotechnology", and the project "Improving the technology for manufacturing robots for training"...

Meanwhile, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hoai Quoc, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association, believes that currently, the trend in research to master technology and develop products and services by some automation organizations and businesses is towards environmentally friendly criteria, including the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for generation; digital transformation; smart factories and green transformation, ESG (environment, society, governance) in production systems.

Mr. Nguyen Le Hung, Deputy Director of the High Technology Department, delivered a speech at the workshop.

Through this, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hoai Quoc proposed several research directions, including focusing on the application of AI generation in automation; digital transformation from the production of next-generation components and sensors to system integration; and green transformation applied in the production of machinery and industrial automation equipment.

To participate in the High-Tech Science and Technology Program until 2030, projects must be included in the list issued by the Prime Minister; be eligible for intellectual property protection; have clear objectives consistent with the approved High-Tech Program Framework; and be able to mobilize external resources to ensure successful project implementation (finance, human resources, etc.).
