The ceremony consists of three main parts: the sacrificial ceremony; the memorial ceremony; and the farewell ceremony for the ancestors. Following the ceremonial part is the festive part with unique folk dances and games performed to the resounding sound of bronze drums echoing throughout the mountains and forests.
Today, the ancestor worship ceremony is preserved and promoted by the Black Lo Lo people, not only educating the community about their roots but also creating a unique tourism product. These traditional cultural values help make Lo Lo Chai village an attractive destination for tourists.
