The learning activity, “Decoding the Picture,” is designed as an interactive game. Students answer six History questions, with each correct answer corresponding to a group of cells on a grid map.

When coloring in the correct answer boxes, each color block gradually appears, revealing the picture of President Ho Chi Minh hidden inside. The test after being shared "caused a stir" on social networks thanks to its creative ideas and inspiration for learning.

Ms. Pham Kim Dung (intern teacher at Newton Secondary and High School, Hanoi ) shared: "The test not only helps students consolidate their knowledge but also arouses their national pride. When the portrait of Uncle Ho gradually appears from the students' efforts, gratitude is awakened in the most natural way."

According to Ms. Dung, students are very interested in this form of question. Some students skipped lunch to finish painting, and some students who rarely participate in group activities are now more proactive and enthusiastic.

Not stopping at simply coloring, Ms. Dung also encourages students to develop their creativity, combining many different colors to express their personality in their work.

“I find this way of giving questions both fun and creative. Students feel like they are playing and still learning, so everyone tries to find the answer, not just to finish,” Ho Ngoc Bao Ngan (Nguyen Trai High School, Khanh Hoa ) shared.

The activity “Decoding the picture” not only hides the image of Uncle Ho, but also has many other patterns. In Khanh Hoa, a Chemistry teacher designed a question with the words “I LOVE YOU MOM” after each correct answer.

The colorful image of Vietnam map is created from the creativity and dedication of teachers when applying this form of learning.

With this assignment, students color in a matrix, creating a heart shape and the words “10-3” from many small squares. Each assignment shows creativity through diverse and vivid color combinations.
