Eye examination and consultation for nearly 1,000 students

On October 13, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross in collaboration with V.Rohto Vietnam Company and Saigon Nha Trang Eye Hospital organized an eye examination program for nearly 1,000 students of Tran Nhat Duat Secondary School (Nha Trang ward).

Students of Tran Nhat Duat Secondary School have their eyesight measured.

At the program, students were examined and consulted on eye care and refractive errors; vision screening, refractive error testing, refractive error measurement, detection of eye abnormalities; instructions for parents and children to measure their own vision at home... The program also gave 10 myopia glasses to students with myopia detected at the program and in difficult circumstances.

Students of Tran Nhat Duat Secondary School are instructed by doctors on eye care.

From now until the end of October, the program continues to organize eye examinations and consultations for students of 4 schools including: Au Co Secondary School, Vo Thi Sau Secondary School, Phuoc Tan Primary School and Tan Lap Primary School. This is an activity within the plan to organize an eye and maxillofacial examination program for the community and schools in Khanh Hoa province in 2025 organized by the Provincial Red Cross in coordination with An An Bach Vietnam Company Limited ( Ho Chi Minh City). Through the program, it aims to detect early eye problems and oral diseases in school-age children, thereby helping parents provide timely treatment.
