Celebrating Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2025): Khanh Hoa entrepreneurs accompany the province's development

Over the years, the business community and enterprises of Khanh Hoa have always affirmed their important role in promoting the local economic growth. Entering a new period of development, the business community and enterprises have become the key factor to realize the aspiration of reaching out to make Khanh Hoa a centrally-run city by 2030 according to Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo.

Pioneering mark

With an average GRDP growth rate of 19.8% in 2022, 10.24% in 2023 and 10.16% in 2024, Khanh Hoa has affirmed its position as one of the localities with the highest economic growth rate in the country. In the first 9 months of 2025, the socio-economic situation continued to grow steadily, with budget revenue exceeding 20% ​​over the same period last year. Contributing to this growth is the dynamism and creativity of the business community and enterprises in the province, which have been playing an important role in promoting local economic growth.

Comrade Chau Ngo Anh Nhan - Director of the Department of Finance said: Since the beginning of the year, the province has had 2,149 more enterprises established, an increase of 21% over the same period. Notably, the total number of operating enterprises has exceeded 15,461 units, marking a growth of 37% over the same period last year, demonstrating the resources and confidence of investors in the province's economy.

Entrepreneurs and enterprises in Khanh Hoa have truly become the key force, directly creating resources and core values ​​for economic development. On average, enterprises contribute more than 45% of the total state budget revenue in the province every year; creating jobs for more than 250,000 workers. This number is expected to grow significantly in the coming years when the province implements its vision of developing a larger economic space, contributing decisively to the stability of social security.

The business community and enterprises always uphold social responsibility and awareness of sustainable development. The total amount of contributions to social security activities from the business community is estimated at nearly 120 billion VND/year in the period of 2024 - 2025. Through launching programs to support people affected by storms and floods; giving houses of gratitude, solidarity houses, eliminating temporary houses, dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households..., businessmen of all classes have sent a message of sharing, noble responsibility towards the country and people that goes beyond pure business interests.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - General Director of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State-owned One Member Co., Ltd., Chairman of Khanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association said: “In recent years, Khanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association has been clearly demonstrating its pioneering role, leading the young entrepreneur community of the province, organizing more than 100 activities for members each year. Not only focusing on business development, the team of entrepreneurs also demonstrates social responsibility, contributing more and more actively to volunteer activities, supporting and ensuring social security. The Association has organized many social charity programs, especially the launch of Khanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs responding to the program "eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses". As a result, from 2024 to now, the members of the Association have built and donated nearly 180 houses of gratitude, demonstrating the humane spirit and sharing heart of the young entrepreneur community".

Breakthrough development opportunities

Khanh Hoa is opening the "door" for businesses to break through with strategic opportunities and regional connectivity vision. Especially after the merger with Ninh Thuan province, the province's development space has become even stronger. This move opens up a large coastal economic corridor, strongly promoting inter-provincial tourism, renewable energy and cross-regional logistics supply chains, creating overall competitiveness and a larger market size for Khanh Hoa businesses.

Businessman Nguyen Van Thu - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canh Dong Viet Food Joint Stock Company (Vietfarm) also said: “In the vibrant economic picture of Khanh Hoa after the merger, businessmen are ready to commit, innovate and steadfast with the goal of sustainable development. We choose a sustainable way, invest in technology, maintain quality and link production with community life. When businesses develop with the people, that is true success. The openness of the government is a great source of encouragement for us to dare to think, dare to do, dare to reach out to the world. When the province creates a favorable environment, businesses will have more confidence to invest long-term”.

The success of entrepreneurs and enterprises always has the support of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province. Many policies to support enterprises have been issued and implemented promptly, helping enterprises overcome difficulties and seize development opportunities. One of the top priorities of the province is to continue reforming administrative procedures, simplifying processes and reducing legal barriers for enterprises. Mr. Kim Song Hag - General Director of HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. said: "HD Hyundai Vietnam is a real testament to successful investment and development in the locality. Nearly 30 years of establishment and development, there were times when we encountered challenges that seemed insurmountable. However, with the attention and support from the Central Government, provincial leaders... have helped us stand firm and develop very stably. This spirit is clearly demonstrated by the province identifying the private economy as the main driving force of growth. Khanh Hoa is committed to promoting administrative reform and implementing strong digital transformation in management to create a transparent business environment, minimizing costs and time.

The province commits to closely and effectively accompany enterprises and investors through administrative procedure reform (reducing at least 30% of processing time), transforming the mindset from administration to service, pioneering the construction of a KPI set to evaluate operational efficiency and taking drastic actions with the motto of thinking big, speaking frankly, doing real things and achieving real efficiency”.
