From June 12 to 14, the Central Inspection Commission held its 42nd meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission.
At this session, the Central Inspection Commission reviewed and concluded a number of contents; including reviewing the Report on the results of the investigation, verification and proposed disciplinary action against Mr. Nguyen Van Yen, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Commission of the Party Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
The Central Inspection Committee found that: Mr. Nguyen Van Yen lacked self-cultivation and training, had degraded political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization, agency, and work unit, to the point that disciplinary action must be considered.
Pursuant to Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee recommends that competent authorities consider and discipline Mr. Nguyen Van Yen.
