Being a poor household, all of his assets and crops were swept away by the flood, making Mr. Tang's already difficult family even more difficult. After the flood and landslide, Trinh Tuong commune had 900 households affected. Receiving support from volunteer groups, based on the list of checks and damage statistics, people coming to receive support were all given a gift voucher by the commune officials. Up to now, more than 100 volunteer groups have connected through the Fatherland Front of Bat Xat district to distribute relief goods to people in flood-hit areas.
