Warning: The upstream areas of the Dong Nai and La Nga rivers are at high risk of being affected by drought or landslides and land subsidence due to drought. The middle areas of the Dong Nai and La Nga rivers are at medium risk. The downstream areas of the Dong Nai river are at increased risk of saltwater intrusion due to drought.

During the 10 days in mid-April, the province experienced little rainfall. The total rainfall was approximately 93-100% less than the multi-year average for the same period. The total flow in the Dong Nai River was about 56% higher than the multi-year average for the same period.

Forecasts indicate that from now until the end of April, scattered rain is likely in many areas of the province and surrounding regions, with relatively significant rainfall amounts. The total flow volume on the Dong Nai and La Nga rivers is changing slowly, showing a downward trend compared to the middle 10 days of April.
