However, this also brings the risk of misinformation and unverified data, particularly regarding labor laws, policies, and online scams. Many businesses and trade unions in the eastern part of Ho Chi Minh City are implementing new models to ensure workers have access to official information sources.

At this company with over 4,000 employees, the union's system of nearly 20 Zalo groups is becoming a regular information channel connecting the company, the union, and the workers. In addition to content on labor law, social insurance, and workers' rights, warnings about illegal lending and online scams are also continuously updated.

In a context where workers access a vast amount of information on social media every day, bringing official information closer to workers is becoming a crucial requirement for labor unions. This includes the use of AI assistants to help them search for and answer questions related to labor rights.

Updating official information from the AI ​​virtual assistant serving trade union work in Chau Pha commune.

Chau Pha commune operates a newly developed AI virtual assistant system to support trade union activities. The system comprises several specialized AI assistants that provide legal advice on labor laws, social insurance, administrative skills, and answer questions of concern to workers. Notably, these AI assistants are regularly updated with information from official sources, ensuring accurate and comprehensive content.

Mr. Pham Hong Hai, from Toc Tien Water Supply Company Limited, Chau Pha commune, Ho Chi Minh City, said that since the union introduced its AI toolset, the work process has become more convenient, allowing for quick and easy questioning, and greater peace of mind when accessing information.

This will help workers avoid and limit the use of inaccurate information on social media as well as untrained AI.”

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Head of the Working Group for Trade Union Management in Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City, shared: "All grassroots trade unions have Zalo, Facebook pages or working groups; we also have fanpages to convey the Party's guidelines, policies, and the State's laws to workers, helping them avoid unofficial information."

When workers have quick access to accurate and official information, not only are their rights better protected, but the working environment at the enterprise becomes more stable and contributes to ensuring security and order in the locality.
