From volunteer campaigns, supporting children, protecting the environment, maintaining urban order to activities expressing gratitude and supporting students during exam season... all are creating a vibrant and meaningful summer for young people.

However, some argue that summer activities are merely superficial and ineffective. This leads some young people to become indifferent, viewing participation in group activities as a "waste of time" and unbeneficial. That's a one-sided view!
It's clear that youth is the best time to experience, contribute, and grow. If young people spend their summers solely on fun, social media, or leisurely trips, they will inadvertently miss the opportunity to develop themselves in a practical environment. It is through summer activities that young people encounter real-life situations, learn to share, work collaboratively, face challenges, and mature in their thinking and actions.
It's no coincidence that many adults still remember and are impressed by their summer volunteer experiences during their university years or their participation in local activities. These could include cleaning up under the scorching sun, trips to disadvantaged areas to help people harvest crops, handing out free water to students at school gates, or evenings spent with children in residential areas... These seemingly small actions help young people better understand the value of responsibility, community spirit, and the meaning of dedication.
In reality, many summer activities today are organized systematically, practically, and closely linked to the real needs of society. In many places, youth union members actively participate in digital transformation activities in the community, assisting people with administrative procedures, disseminating skills to prevent drowning among children, helping families with preferential policies, and building youth projects... These actions not only bring concrete benefits to the community but also help young people accumulate soft skills, resilience, and life experience—things that are difficult to acquire if they only live in their own comfort zone.
Of course, there are still some activities that are unappealing, lacking depth, or overly formal, but we cannot deny the value of a positive training environment for young people because of a few shortcomings. Every generation of young people needs experiences to grow. A meaningful summer is not only measured by the number of trips or days spent sleeping in, but also by the good things they have done for the community. That is what makes a truly meaningful youth.
