The Steering Committee for Summer Activities in Binh Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, will organize a variety of activities in 53 neighborhoods. Highlights include: a children's summer arts festival; a book reading and storytelling competition; sports events; life skills education activities; volunteer activities; and experiential activities.

In particular, the Binh Thanh Ward Summer Activities Steering Committee organized and implemented two meaningful models: "Free talent classes for disadvantaged children" (free lessons in taekwondo, basketball, football, and badminton) and the "Digital Lens - Summer Milestones" map model to help parents track and register their children for summer activities.

At the city level, from May 30th to August 30th, Ho Chi Minh City will implement a series of summer activities in 2026 with cultural and sports playgrounds, digital skills activities, environmental education, historical experiences, and mental health care for children... The campaign to support students in going to school through the "Old Computers - New Knowledge" program will donate computers, online learning equipment, and award Nguyen Huu Tho scholarships on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2026-2027.

Activities focused on expressing pride in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the day Saigon - Gia Dinh City was honored to be named after President Ho Chi Minh include: an exhibition themed "Uncle Ho with Children" and experiential activities to learn about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh; the Ho Chi Minh City Children's Festival - Kids Fest 2026; and the "I Love My City" journey in 2026...

The Ho Chi Minh City Cultural and Exhibition Center, in coordination with the City Youth Union and the City Children's House, will organize the 2026 Summer Arts Festival with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City - My City," along with the 6th Ho Chi Minh City Children's Book Fair.

In addition, training programs in military and police environments such as the Military Semester, Police Semester, and Maritime Semester continue to be implemented synchronously and effectively. Furthermore, the city organizes numerous activities to guide children in swimming, drowning prevention, fire prevention and control, first aid, digital skills, and safe social media use at the grassroots level.
