In the draft, the Ministry of Finance proposes that taxpayers could receive a maximum deduction of 47 million VND per year for medical and educational expenses for themselves and their dependents, provided they have sufficient invoices and supporting documents. This includes expenses for medical examinations and treatment at domestic medical facilities covered by health insurance, and expenses for domestic education and training. If the proposal is approved, the state budget will experience a revenue shortfall of approximately 7,700 billion VND per year. However, this will contribute to reducing medical and educational costs for taxpayers, demonstrating the state's support and sharing with the people.
