A cultural evening titled "Warmth of the Home Front" was held in An Giang.

The 892nd Regiment (An Giang Provincial Military Command) recently organized a cultural performance titled "Warmth of the Home Front" in 2026 to raise funds to support families of officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances within the unit.

Throughout 45 years of building, fighting, and maturing, generations of officers and soldiers of Regiment 892 have always been united, upholding the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers," demonstrating self-reliance, self-strength, initiative, and creativity, successfully and excellently completing many important tasks such as training, combat readiness, disaster prevention and relief, rescue operations, assisting the people in socio-economic development, building new rural areas, and maintaining political security in the region.

Along with successfully fulfilling military and national defense tasks, the Party Committee and Command of the Regiment have always considered military policy and support for the military as important tasks, contributing to strengthening the confidence, motivation, and morale of all officers and soldiers in the unit.

Speaking at the cultural performance, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Hoa, Political Commissar of Regiment 892, said: Deeply aware of the role of military rear-area support work, the Party Committee and command of the Regiment have regularly led and directed the comprehensive, synchronized, and effective implementation of regimes and policies for the military and military families.

The entitlements, standards, and benefits of officers and soldiers are always fully and promptly ensured, reaching the right people and complying with regulations. In addition, the unit regularly maintains activities to visit and encourage military families, especially those in difficult circumstances or living in remote areas.

The movements of "Showing gratitude and repaying kindness," "Remembering the source of the water you drink," and caring for families of policy beneficiaries and those who have contributed to the revolution have been widely implemented, bringing practical results and profound humanitarian significance, thereby contributing to stabilizing morale and helping soldiers feel secure in their work and committed to their units.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Hoa, over the past 10 years, the "Warmth of the Home Front" program has not only been a cultural and spiritual activity but has truly become a forum with profound humanitarian significance, a bridge connecting organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to join hands in caring for the lives of officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances.

Over the past 10 years of implementation, the program has raised more than 2.138 billion VND, supporting the construction of 54 houses and assisting more than 276 disadvantaged families of officers and soldiers, contributing to better care for their material and spiritual lives, building a solid support system so that officers and soldiers can work with peace of mind and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

During the cultural performance, Regiment 892 raised over 100 million VND and 14 houses to support the families of new recruits joining the army in 2026 and officers and soldiers with difficult circumstances in the unit.
