On May 25th, in Khong Lao commune, Lai Chau province, the Provincial Youth Union organized the launching ceremony of the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign with the participation of a large number of union members, young people, and supporting forces.
Attending the ceremony were Ms. Vu Thi Mai Dinh, Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; leaders of Khong Lao commune; and representatives from many participating units and businesses, as well as youth union members.

At the event, five youth volunteer teams for the 2026 summer program were launched: Supporting Students During Exams, Green Summer, Red Phoenix Flower, Pink Holiday, and Green March.
The teams will carry out various grassroots activities, supporting people in disadvantaged areas and border regions.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Ms. Vu Thi Mai Dinh emphasized that the campaign is an opportunity for young people to demonstrate their pioneering spirit and responsibility for the community; and at the same time affirm the role of the Youth Union in accompanying the construction of new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and supporting digital transformation at the grassroots level.

As part of the program, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union presented one computer to the Party Committee of Khong Lao commune, and 20 gift packages to families entitled to preferential policies and students in difficult circumstances in the area.
Also on this occasion, Petrolimex Lai Chau Co., Ltd. donated 60 million VND to build a Solidarity House for a disadvantaged family in Sang Giang village.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, youth union members participated in cleaning up the environment, beautifying inter-village roads, visiting disadvantaged households, and assisting people in standardizing personal information and integrating documents into the VNeID application.
