Come to Khanh Hoa to experience Cham ethnic culture

The 6th Cham Cultural Festival will take place in Khanh Hoa, introducing and honoring Cham culture.

On September 10, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a plan to organize the 6th Cham Ethnic Cultural Festival in Khanh Hoa.

The festival will take place from October 17 to 19, 2025, with the participation of nearly 600 artisans, actors, and mass athletes of the Cham ethnic group from 6 provinces and cities including Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City.

The festival, themed “Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Cham ethnic group in the new era”, took place at April 16 Square (Phan Rang Ward) with many diverse activities.

Highlights include a mass art festival, traditional costume performances, Cham ritual excerpts, brocade weaving and pottery performances, folk games, and community tourism skills demonstrations.

Along with that is the photo exhibition "Cham people accompany the country's development" and the workshop "Promoting the value of Cham cultural heritage in tourism development".

The opening ceremony of cultural, sports and tourism activities will take place on the morning of October 17, and the official opening ceremony will be at 8:00 pm the same day. The closing ceremony will be held on the evening of October 19.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event is an opportunity to honor and introduce the unique traditional cultural values ​​of the Cham people, while promoting the image of Vietnam as a country rich in identity and unity in diversity, affirming the attention of the Party and State to the work of preserving and promoting Cham culture in the context of integration and development.
