The Lam Dong Provincial Department of Construction announced that several sections of the Bao Loc Pass will be closed to traffic in short bursts to ensure construction safety and minimize traffic congestion.
Bao Loc Pass is closed to traffic during 7 time slots each day.

These are the areas where landslide remediation work is underway on the Bao Loc Pass. The work will be in effect from May 20, 2026 to June 25, 2026.
Each traffic closure period lasts no more than 15 minutes. The restricted hours include: from 6:00 to 6:15, 6:30 to 6:45, 7:00 to 7:15, 9:00 to 9:15, 9:30 to 9:45, 12:00 to 12:15, and 12:30 to 12:45.

Road closure times may change.

The changes depend on traffic volume, site conditions, and construction progress at any given time to ensure traffic safety and reduce prolonged congestion.
People planning to travel through Bao Loc Pass should proactively arrange their travel time to avoid disruption.
Construction work will occupy one lane from 9 PM to 2 PM the following day.
In addition to the completely prohibited hours, the contractor also organized construction work occupying one lane from 9 PM to 2 PM the following day.
During this time, vehicles are only allowed to travel on the remaining lane on the right side of the road.
From 2 PM to 9 PM daily, vehicles are allowed to circulate normally on both lanes.
People need to be proactive when crossing the Bao Loc pass.
Bao Loc Pass is an important transportation route connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Lam Dong and other provinces in the Central Highlands, so the daily traffic volume is very high.
Construction work to address the landslide is underway to ensure the safety of people and vehicles during the rainy season. People traveling through this area should monitor traffic diversion information and follow the instructions of the authorities.
The traffic diversion, lasting over a month, may increase travel time through Bao Loc Pass during many peak hours. Drivers are advised to proactively choose suitable departure times to avoid congestion.
