
The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 will begin at 6:30 a.m. on September 2 (before that, the first general practice event will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 21 and the second general practice event will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 24; preliminary rehearsal will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 27 and the final rehearsal will take place at 6:30 a.m. on August 30).
The Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center (Tramoc) has just sent an urgent document to passenger transport units such as buses and urban railways about stopping and adjusting many bus routes to serve the general training and preliminary rehearsal for the A80 parade. The Hanoi bus system has many routes passing through the streets near the A80 parade area:
- Nguyen Thai Hoc Street: There are 13 bus routes passing through, including 02, 22A, 23, 32, 38, 50, 99, BRT01...
- Hoang Dieu Street: There are 5 bus routes, get off at Bac Son Monument stop.
- Lieu Giai Street and Van Cao Street: There are routes 09A, E05, 144.
Due to traffic diversion, some bus routes may be temporarily adjusted and will not be allowed to enter central streets where parades and processions pass during the ceremony.
During the training event held on August 21, the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center announced that from 11:00 a.m. on August 21, 19 bus routes will be suspended from the time of traffic diversion to serve the first training session. The suspended bus routes include routes with numbers: 24, 23, 31, 38, Citytour 01, 09B, 34, 55, 41, 146, Citytour 03, 159, 144, E05, E07, E08, 43TC, Eli, Citytour 02.
The center adjusted the routes for 56 bus routes, including the BRT bus route, during the traffic diversion period for the first training session. Adjusted the terminal points and adjusted the routes for over 20 other bus routes according to the traffic diversion plan.
For the two urban railway lines Cat Linh - Ha Dong, Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station, the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center has requested the Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. to extend the operating time of both lines to 24 hours, which means extending the operation by 2 hours compared to normal, with a 10-minute interval between each trip according to the agreed train schedule. On September 1, trains will operate all night.
