Gia Lai Electricity Company ensures safe and continuous power supply during September 2 holiday

(GLO)- Gia Lai Electricity Company (PC Gia Lai) is implementing plans to ensure safe and continuous power supply to serve activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

According to PC Gia Lai , the load during this year's holiday will increase by about 3% compared to the same period in 2024, with an average daily electricity output of 13.2-13.9 million kWh, with a capacity of 650-690 MW. Of which, the source mobilized from power plants will reach about 140 MW and rooftop solar power will reach nearly 386 MW.

PC Gia Lai has built a priority power supply method for Party and State leadership agencies, national defense, security, hospitals, press agencies, clean water facilities and venues for political and cultural events.

Power management teams have increased grid inspections and deployed 24/7 staff to be ready to handle incidents. At the same time, the Company has closely coordinated with the High Voltage Grid Enterprise, power plants and the provincial Distribution Control Center to promptly respond to unusual situations.

Implementing the direction of EVNCPC, PC Gia Lai mobilized maximum rooftop solar power, separated capacitors on medium and low voltage grids, maintained equipment, cleaned grid corridors, switched transformers and arranged backup power sources. The company also promoted propaganda on safe and economical use of electricity, avoided peak times and did not release sky lanterns, kites, balloons and fireworks that caused incidents.
