Bright spot of Vinh city

During the war against the US, Vinh, Nghe An was one of the northern cities most heavily bombed by the US Air Force, the entire city was almost leveled. Vinh City is a whole memory with the sound of the East Sea waves and on one side is the halo of light shining on the city sky. During the days of fighting the US, the central region felt more pain than in Vinh.

After 60 years of formation and development, looking at Vinh today, after so many years, the ruins of the past have become a first-class urban area, an important center of the North Central region. With the photo series "Bright Spots of Vinh City" by author Le Quang Dung, we can clearly see the changes of Vinh City. Vinh has a bright and "open" face of a city in the integration period. The photo series was sent by the author to participate in the Photo and Video Contest Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications .

Standing on the top floor of Muong Thanh - Phuong Dong Hotel in the center of Vinh city, looking south, a vast expanse of sky stretches towards Lam River. Next to the bustling Ben Thuy Bridge, Dung Quyet Mountain stands tall, the evidence of the Phoenix Citadel of Trung Do still stands there, imprinted in the blue sky with the failed dream of establishing the capital of Emperor Quang Trung. The roads from Vinh open to the outside by all means of transport: road, rail, air, water. Vinh is bustling and busy. Vinh has become a city that never sleeps since the country's renovation. Factories, constructions, industrial zones in North and South Vinh, and commercial centers are springing up rapidly. The urban traffic system is spacious and beautiful. Roads from Vinh are expanding to the outside by all means of transport: road, rail, air, and water. Vinh is bustling and busy. Vinh has become a city that never sleeps since the country's renovation. 2024 is a year of special significance for the people of Vinh city. After 60 years of construction and development, Vinh has achieved very proud achievements and is ready to enter a new period of development with a greater position as a coastal city.
