The ASEAN Tourism Forum 2024 (ATF), held from January 23-26 in Vientiane, the capital of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, is a significant event, hosted in rotation by ASEAN member countries to promote tourism to regional and international visitors.

Participating in this year's event, Ha Tinh is one of five provinces (Nghe An, Dien Bien , Ninh Binh, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh) selected and invited by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to participate in the activities of the Vietnamese delegation and to organize a booth to display, introduce, and promote tourism at the Travex Fair.

Members of the Ha Tinh delegation participated in the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2024.

As part of ATF 2024, the Travex Fair attracted 50 tourism promotion booths from ASEAN countries, including national pavilions, provincial and city pavilions, and businesses operating in the tourism and travel sectors.

The tourism promotion booth of Ha Tinh province was jointly organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Center for Business Development Support and Investment Promotion of the province. At the booth, through publications, international tourists were introduced to the beauty of scenic spots and attractive destinations in Ha Tinh; tours and routes, as well as characteristic Ha Tinh cuisine such as Vung Ang squid, Cu Do candy, Phuc Trach pomelo, deer antler products, Son Kim mineral water... This also showcased the investment and development potential of Ha Tinh tourism in conjunction with the development of tourism in Vietnam.

In addition to its promotional booth, the Ha Tinh delegation also participated in events at the forum such as the 59th ASEAN National Tourism Agencies Meeting, the 44th ASEAN+3 National Tourism Agencies Meeting, the 31st ASEAN-India Tourism Working Group Meeting, the 27th ASEAN Tourism Ministers Meeting, the 23rd ASEAN+3 Tourism Ministers Meeting, the 11th ASEAN-India Tourism Ministers Meeting, the 3rd ASEAN-Russia Tourism Ministers Meeting, and the ASEAN Tourism Awards ceremony...
