The streets were decorated.

In keeping with the joyful atmosphere celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam , localities throughout the province are bustling with activities celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. This is also a concrete effort to implement the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term right from the beginning of the new year.

In Tam Hiep ward, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council, Nguyen Xuan Thanh, stated: The locality has promptly issued a plan for propaganda and urban landscape decoration. The focus is on the series of events including the Spring Flower Festival and cultural and sports activities taking place throughout the period from the 20th day of the 12th lunar month to the 5th day of Tet (Lunar New Year). This year's impressive highlight is concentrated along Duong Tu Giang street and park, featuring an artistic LED lighting system; over 30 peach and apricot blossom trees; a street brightly decorated with Party and national flags; and nearly 90 food stalls and traditional games.

“This systematic investment aims not only to beautify the urban landscape but also to create a cultural space that is both modern and rich in identity, helping people, especially the younger generation, to further appreciate and be proud of the traditional values of the nation. Through this, the ward hopes to create a modern and vibrant space for people to visit and experience during the spring festival,” said Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh.

According to the plan of the People's Committee of Tran Bien Ward, for the celebration of the Party and the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse), the ward will implement the Nguyen Van Tri flower street with the theme "Spring of Unity - Tet as One Family". The location will be at Nguyen Van Tri Park (from the intersection of Hoang Minh Chau and Nguyen Van Tri to Hoa An Bridge), with the flower street expected to have a total length of over 600m.

This is one of a series of activities on Nguyen Van Tri pedestrian street to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026) and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. The overall flower street is designed into four decorative spaces with four central models and 13 smaller scenes, including: a space celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026; a Kid Zone; a cultural identity space; a space for Spring connection - a joyful Tet; and a cluster symbolizing success and aspiration for a prosperous and peaceful new year.

In Dinh Quan commune, the Youth Union recently launched the youth project "Party Flag and National Flag Road". This project aims to awaken national pride in every Youth Union member, young person, and citizen of Dinh Quan commune. The project is being implemented along the 17-3 road (in Hiep Tam 1 hamlet, Dinh Quan commune) – right in the commune's administrative center.

The project aims to help youth union members and people in the commune better understand the important political events of the country, as well as contribute to spreading national pride and patriotism.”

Supermarkets and stores are investing in "check-in" spots for Tet.

Besides streets, corners, and urban areas, many shopping malls, supermarkets, and stores have also invested in decorating their spaces, arranging many miniature scenes and creating traditional and modern Tet-themed settings to welcome tourists to check in during the Tet holiday.

Le Van Hong, Director of GO! Supermarket in Dong Nai (in Long Hung ward), shared: "Besides implementing activities to prepare for Tet (Lunar New Year) and consumer stimulus programs, during the peak shopping season for the upcoming Tet holiday of the Year of the Horse 2026, the supermarket proactively deploys check-in points and attractively decorated Tet-themed displays. This creates a shopping space that is both modern and imbued with the traditional Tet atmosphere for customers visiting and shopping at the supermarket."

During this time, many cafes and restaurants in the province also focus on investing in Tet-themed models and decorations such as paintings, couplets, scrolls, yellow apricot blossoms, winter peach branches, clusters of red firecrackers, miniature scenes of banh chung and banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), gold bars, etc., to attract customers to visit and take photos for social media.

According to Nguyen Quoc Minh, Director of Co.opmart Dong Xoai Supermarket (in Binh Phuoc Ward): Besides major promotional programs and ensuring the supply of goods for Tet, the supermarket also arranges themed displays to welcome spring and Tet to attract customers to shop and take photos, as well as implementing activities such as: Calligraphers giving away calligraphy, the "Thousand Wishes - Tet from Sharing" program, the "Bonding Family Bonds - Tet Closer to Family" program, and the "Happy Journey" program, thereby contributing to enhancing the meaning of the traditional Tet holiday, connecting those who are far from home with their families, and strengthening family bonds…

Ms. Ngoc Han (residing in Tran Bien ward) shared: During this time, she often strolls with friends along streets decorated with flags and flowers, and also takes advantage of the weekend to visit some cafes decorated for Tet to take Tet photos, as well as experience the bustling atmosphere of Tet and the arrival of spring, especially amidst the chilly weather in the last days of the year.
