Delegation of Central Inspection Commission officials learns from experience in preventing and combating corruption and waste in Korea

From September 14 to 17, 2025, the Central Inspection Commission's working delegation led by comrade Tran Thi Hien, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, visited, worked, studied, and exchanged experiences in the work of preventing and combating corruption and waste in Korea. Also participating in the delegation was comrade Vo Thai Nguyen, member of the Central Inspection Commission.

The delegation worked with the Korean Board of Audit and Inspection (BAI).

The delegation worked with leaders of agencies and organizations: the Korean Audit and Inspection Commission (BAI), the Korean Senior Officials Investigation Agency (CIO) and the Korean Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC). Representatives of the organizations welcomed the delegation respectfully and openly, exchanging many important contents. Both sides emphasized that the visit of the Central Inspection Commission delegation contributed to strengthening the good relationship between the two countries of Korea and Vietnam and was a valuable opportunity for both sides to increase experience sharing in the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.

The delegation worked with the Korean Corrupt Practices Investigation Agency (CIO).

Comrade Tran Thi Hien, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, presented a souvenir to Mr. Oh Dongun, Director of the Korean Senior Officials Investigation Agency (CIO).

At the working sessions, Head of the delegation Tran Thi Hien affirmed that the rich experiences shared by the Korean side bring special reference value to Vietnam in the context of Vietnam's efforts to perfect the power control mechanism, enhance transparency and efficiency in coordination between inspection, auditing, investigation, prosecution and trial agencies.

The delegation took a souvenir photo with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission of Korea (ACRC).

Also during the working program, the delegation visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea.
