The delegation visited, wished a happy new year and presented gifts to monks and prestigious people of the Khmer ethnic group in Chau Thanh, Ke Sach, My Tu districts and the Four-Faced Pagoda (Phu Tan commune, Chau Thanh district). The delegation was also accompanied by leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Fatherland Front, Provincial Ethnic Committee and leaders of Chau Thanh district.

Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman Nong Thi Ha and the delegation presented 100 gifts to monks, nuns, and prestigious people in Chau Thanh, My Tu, and Ke Sach districts.
Ms. Nong Thi Ha hopes that the Khmer people will preserve and promote the traditions and cultural identity of the nation, well implement the policies of the Party and State, maintain security and order and strengthen the great national unity bloc; actively work in production, encourage their children to study for a better future.
On behalf of the leaders of the Ethnic Committee, the Deputy Minister and Vice Chairman wished all the monks, venerable monks, prestigious people and Khmer people a happy, joyful and safe new year; encouraged Khmer people to work with local authorities to successfully implement ethnic programs and policies, especially the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030.
