The delegation included representatives from the following units: the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police Department, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the Provincial People's Committee Office.
Welcoming and working with the delegation, on the side of Hua Phan province were Comrade Phut Phan Keo Vong Xay, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Governor of Hua Phan province, along with other members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and representatives of the leadership of a number of relevant departments and agencies.
On behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam expressed his joy at being received in such a thoughtful and warm manner by Hua Phan province.
On this occasion, the delegation from Nghe An province presented gifts and extended congratulations to the Party Committee, government, and people of the Lao ethnic groups in Hua Phan province on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay New Year. It is hoped that, with their fine revolutionary traditions, the heroic people of the Lao ethnic groups in Hua Phan province, under the wise leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, will unite, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and achieve even greater successes in all fields in the future.
In response to the sentiments that the Party Committee, Government, and people of Nghe An province have shown to the Party Committee, Government, and people of the Lao ethnic groups in Hua Phan province, Comrade Phut Phan Keo Vong Xay, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Governor of Hua Phan province, expressed his joy and gratitude for the attention and support from Nghe An province.
On this occasion, the leaders of the two provinces also provided information on their socio-economic development, national security and defense, and foreign affairs work in 2023, as well as some key tasks to be implemented in 2024. At the same time, the leaders of the two localities affirmed their commitment to maintaining and developing the cooperative relationship between Nghe An and Hua Phan provinces, making it even stronger; contributing to strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties and two States in general, and contributing to the socio-economic development of each province in particular.
