According to Comrade Le Quoc Minh, in recent years, Nhan Dan Newspaper has continuously innovated in the direction of digital transformation to meet the development trends of journalism and has now fully developed all types of journalism. Nhan Dan Newspaper has boosted investment in software systems and equipment, applied most modern journalistic technologies, and trained a team of reporters who are not only good writers but also proficient in using technology.

According to Comrade Le Quoc Minh, currently, 70% of the readers of Nhan Dan Online Newspaper are under 30 years old. The active participation of young people will contribute to creating a newspaper that is attractive to future generations and become a model of a digital newspaper with a strong presence on social media; at the same time, it will combat manifestations of negative trends on the Internet.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh also emphasized the importance of creating the necessary tools to support reporters and editors in producing the best possible journalistic products.

Comrade Yailin Orta Rivera, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Editor-in-Chief of Granma newspaper, stated that the daily newspaper is a constant target of the media war against Cuba and faces increasingly severe resource constraints due to the effects of the embargo.

Despite facing numerous challenges, the leadership and staff of Granma Newspaper continue to strive and uphold their tradition of being a leading force in information dissemination and public opinion shaping.

The newspaper's leadership also has ideas and projects to develop the newspaper, keeping pace with the trends of the times, meeting the needs of disseminating information about the updated economic model of the country, exposing the subversive plots of hostile forces, contributing to the protection of the achievements of the revolution and continuing to build socialism on the Island of Freedom.

Representatives from both Party newspapers shared views on the challenges posed by today's technological landscape to the media industry and agreed that, as the official mouthpieces of the Communist Parties of both countries, both newspapers need to strengthen their combativeness on the ideological front, and continue to improve to fully meet the needs of widely disseminating the policies and guidelines of the two Parties and States to the people during the new period of national development.

The leaders of both sides also agreed on several areas where cooperation between the two newspapers needs to be strengthened in the coming time, especially in professional fields, cooperation in propaganda, publishing, and digital transformation. During the meeting, the delegation visited several specialized departments of Granma Newspaper and exchanged views with staff and reporters at the newspaper.

During his visit to the headquarters of the Cuban Journalists Association (UPEC), Mr. Le Quoc Minh shared many views on the direction of journalism modernization. In his exchange with UPEC President Ricardo Ronquillo Bello, Mr. Le Quoc Minh emphasized that digital transformation is not about changing technology but about changing people, and most importantly, changing mindsets.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh affirmed that one of the factors ensuring the success of the digital transformation of media is having a modernization strategy that takes into account the differences between large media outlets and local media; designing the reader experience; creating motivation to avoid resistance to the transformation process; and encouraging employees.

Also at the UPEC headquarters, Comrade Le Quoc Minh held both in-person and online discussions with his Cuban colleagues on "Transforming Vietnam's media system in the 21st century and the challenges of artificial intelligence."
