Delegation of Dien Bien province visits General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

Before the spirit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the delegation of Dien Bien province expressed their emotion and infinite sorrow at the passing of the General Secretary, an outstanding leader, thinker, culturalist, the Party's theoretical flag bearer, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh , who devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and our nation. The passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is a great loss to our entire Party, army and people, leaving behind infinite sorrow for the people of the whole country and international friends.

Deeply mourning the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the delegates observed a minute of silence. The Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province are deeply grateful and will forever remember the great contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, who always has special affection, care and leadership in directing the development of ethnic minority areas, improving the material and spiritual life of the people of Dien Bien and the Northwestern provinces. Dien Bien province vows to follow the example of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, always unite, strive, be creative, promote the will of self-reliance and development aspirations, lead the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress of the province, making Dien Bien a province with fast and sustainable development.

At the funeral, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province and the people of all ethnic groups, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong respectfully wrote in the condolence book: "The Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups of Dien Bien province are extremely saddened, mourn and pay their respects to comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
