Handing over the donation to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Nguyen Van Luc, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, shared that, in response to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and with the spirit of always being ready to participate in movements to support and help the poor and those in difficult circumstances, the Trade Union of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment organized a fundraising campaign, dedicating its heart to the people in the provinces affected by natural disasters, hoping that they will soon stabilize their lives.

Receiving the compassionate support from the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Movement Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that Typhoon No. 3 caused heavy losses of life and property in 26 provinces and cities in the North. Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in recent days, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has received many resources from agencies, organizations, individuals, and international friends who have joined hands to support the people in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon No. 3. These are precious acts of kindness, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and creating immense strength to give people in disadvantaged areas more motivation to rebuild their lives.

Mr. Cao Xuan Thao presented a Letter of Appreciation to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

According to Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, after urgently addressing the consequences of the storms and floods, the current phase is to rebuild people's lives. Therefore, the joint efforts of philanthropists are urgently needed to share and provide spiritual and material support, contributing together with the Party and the State to quickly restore production and people's lives.

Mr. Cao Xuan Thao pledged that, from the received funds, the Central Relief Campaign Committee would publicly and transparently disclose the donated resources and allocate them in installments to localities to provide timely support to the people in areas severely affected by storms and floods, helping them to quickly stabilize production and business; he also expressed his hope that the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment would continue to cooperate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front in future activities, working together to care for the poor and vulnerable in society.

On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received donations for people affected by Typhoon No. 3 from the collective of officials and employees of the National Remote Sensing Agency - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, totaling 75.889 million VND; the Association of Vietnamese People in Gera, Federal Republic of Germany, donated 100 million VND; and the Vietnam Tennis Federation donated 24.5 million VND.

Handing over the donation to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Pham Thi Ha Giang , Chairwoman of the Trade Union of the National Remote Sensing Agency, said that in the face of the heavy damage caused by Typhoon No. 3 to the people of the northern provinces, with the spirit of "mutual support," each official and employee of the National Remote Sensing Agency contributed a little to help the people in the flood-affected areas quickly overcome the damage.

"Hopefully, the contributions of the staff and officials of the National Remote Sensing Agency will help our people overcome difficulties, quickly restore and develop production, and return to normal life," Ms. Giang shared.
