An 800-person tour group led by an Indian billionaire visits Ninh Binh.

On the afternoon of August 28th, the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism announced that the tour group brought to Vietnam by Indian billionaire Dilip Shanghvi had arrived at the Trang An tourist area.

The tour group led by the Indian billionaire arrived in Trang An on August 28th.

According to Mr. Pham Duy Phong, Deputy Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism , the Indian tour group will visit Ninh Binh in seven separate groups from August 28th to September 5th.

On the first day (August 28th), approximately 800 tourists visited the Trang An heritage site. The group was provided with a separate walkway, a private boat tour, and attentive and enthusiastic tour guides.

Approximately 800 people were part of the 4,500-person tour group that arrived in Ninh Binh.

The head of the Department of Tourism emphasized that in 2014, the Trang An scenic complex was inscribed as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site.

This is one of 31 mixed heritage sites in the world, the 11th in the Asia-Pacific region, and the first mixed heritage site in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, possessing outstanding global values.

Mr. Pham Duy Phong, Deputy Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, on behalf of the provincial tourism industry, welcomed and presented flowers to the Indian tourist group visiting the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.

The fact that the Indian delegation chose Trang An for their visit and experience demonstrates the affection and love of international friends for Ninh Binh, and it is also a great opportunity to further affirm the value of the tourism brand, promote the image of the people and the beauty of the ancient capital region.

For convenience in sightseeing and transportation, the tour group split into smaller teams to explore the Trang An Eco-tourism Area.

With this boat tour, visitors will explore the caves on hand-rowed boats. In addition to enjoying the natural scenery, the Indian tour group will admire sacred temples and pagodas, and learn about the history, culture, and people of Ninh Binh.

After finishing their tour of the Trang An Eco-tourism Area, the group will have lunch at Trang An 5 restaurant in Ninh Binh city.

The Indian billionaire's entourage ordered six main courses for lunch on August 28th. The dishes were "purely Indian vegan" and served buffet-style, with the chef and 90% of the ingredients imported from India.
