From early morning, the atmosphere at the French Village was more vibrant than ever. Numerous domestic and international tourists, after experiencing the cable car and checking in at the legendary Golden Bridge, eagerly flocked to the central area of the French Village to await the opening ceremony.

Visitors were thrilled by the fun yet artistic performance of international dancers at the “Jum Jum Show,” providing a spectacular kick-off for the grand opening of Eric Kayser's second bakery in Vietnam and the first in Ba Na Hills.

Strategically located in the heart of the French Village, Eric Kayser Bakery makes a strong impression with its design perfectly embodying the concept of a luxurious and classic Parisian bakery. The unique feature of the shop is its six airy facades, offering panoramic views of the surrounding castles, ancient churches, and romantic windows.

With a seating capacity of up to 300, the bakery boasts an elegantly designed space that harmoniously blends with the charming architecture of the old French Village and the characteristic cool atmosphere of Ba Na Hill, transforming it into a true miniature "Parisian corner".

Stepping through the doors of Eric Kayser, visitors are immediately captivated by the alluring aroma wafting in the breeze. Here, diners have the opportunity to clearly visualize and fully experience the essence of the Maison Kayser brand through its signature product lines that have made it a global sensation. Maison Eric Kayser is renowned worldwide for its unwavering commitment to its signature natural sourdough starter. This is a type of live yeast that is freshly brewed every day, undergoing a slow fermentation process for 12 hours, creating croissants with a thin, crispy crust, a fragrant aroma, a light, tangy taste, and a distinctive, unmistakable spongy texture. “I was truly amazed when I arrived at Ba Na Hills. The architecture here already resembles France, and now there's the Eric Kayser bakery. Sitting in the cool weather, sipping coffee and eating a crispy croissant that tastes just like home, I felt like I was sitting in a familiar cafe by the romantic Seine River. This is truly a wonderful and complete experience in Vietnam,” shared Marie Dupont, a tourist from Lyon (France).

These are croissants with a golden, crispy crust on the outside but a soft, fluffy, buttery interior – a product that won the prestigious "Best Croissant in Paris" award. There's Pain Au Chocolat, fragrant with the aroma of freshly baked butter blended with a subtly sweet and bitter chocolate flavor. And we can't forget the sourdough baguette – the pride of master baker Éric Kayser. "I'm a croissant fan, but Eric Kayser's croissants at Ba Na Hills are truly different. Not only are they delicious and the crust crispy, but the inside is incredibly soft, chewy, and rich – completely different from any croissants I've ever eaten before," said Ms. Hanh Hanh (a tourist from Hanoi ).

In particular, one of Maison Kayser's most unique interactive experiences at Ba Na Hills is that visitors can directly choose their pastries, witness the bakers kneading, shaping, and baking the dough, and even leave their impressions on the bakery's walls. This interaction not only provides reassurance about the absolute freshness and quality of freshly baked goods but also offers a delightful artistic experience for every visitor.

To show appreciation and share the joy with diners during the opening week (May 30th to June 5th), Eric Kayser at Ba Na Hills is launching a series of attractive promotions such as: a free cake/drink/ice cream for bills over 300,000 VND. Especially, the Happy Hour program (from 5 PM to 7 PM daily) offers a 30% discount on all menu items, promising a wonderful romantic moment for visitors at the charming French Village.
“Ba Na Hills is known as a ‘miniature French Village’ in the heart of Da Nang, where visitors can experience the architecture, atmosphere, and ‘soul’ of European culture. To fully capture the ‘essence’ of a Parisian space, we understand the need for distinctive culinary flavors from that country. That’s why we chose to collaborate and bring Maison Eric Kayser to Ba Na. The opening of the bakery, coinciding with the opening of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026, is even more significant, contributing to a wonderful emotional resonance for visitors during the DIFF 2026 festival,” shared Mr. Nguyen Lam An, Director of Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area.
