On the morning of June 1st, the People's Committee of Hoi An Dong ward began operating two new ticket counters at the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest tourist site.

On the first day of implementation, ticket sales, ticket control, and passenger reception proceeded smoothly. At ticket sales points and passenger reception areas, tourism businesses, travel agencies, boat owners, and other businesses followed the new plan, and no congestion or disruption was reported.

Adding more ticket counters helps to disperse the flow of customers, reducing pressure on the central ticket area, especially during peak hours.

Many tourists now find it more convenient to buy tickets when visiting the coconut forest than before.

In addition to the experience of visiting the mangrove forest, the management unit also adds many other experiences for tourists such as performances of Quang Nam folk songs, call-and-response singing, Bai Choi singing, and demonstrations of casting fishing nets on the river.

Since the beginning of the year, thousands of visitors have flocked to Cam Thanh Coconut Forest (Hoi An Dong, Da Nang City), resulting in record-breaking ticket sales revenue. At certain times, the number of tickets sold at this tourist spot even surpassed that of the Old Quarter.

Eighty percent of the 700,000 visitors to Cam Thanh Coconut Forest are international tourists. In contrast to previous periods, the number of South Korean visitors is currently declining, while the number of Indian visitors is increasing rapidly.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Cam Thanh Coconut Forest earned less than 20 billion VND annually from entrance fees. By 2025, this figure is expected to reach 37 billion VND. In 2026, it is projected to generate approximately 40 billion VND from entrance fees.

Currently, Cam Thanh Coconut Forest is a top tourist attraction and revenue generator in Hoi An.
