(Baohatinh.vn) - Distribution and retail businesses in Ha Tinh province have entered the peak business season, proactively preparing goods to supply the market for the end of the year and the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse.

The final days of the year, leading up to the Lunar New Year, are the peak season for the consumer market as people's shopping needs increase. Anticipating a surge in demand, distribution businesses have proactively prepared their inventory, personnel, and warehouses to ensure the supply of goods.

Xuan Tinh Trading Joint Stock Company has imported a large quantity of goods to supply its dealers and serve the Tet holiday market.

As one of the major consumer goods distributors in the area, Xuan Tinh Trading Joint Stock Company (Ha Huy Tap ward) is currently entering the peak period of supplying goods for Tet (Lunar New Year).

Ms. Bui Thi Tuyet from Xuan Tinh Trading Joint Stock Company stated: "Our company specializes in distributing Huu Nghi confectionery and many other familiar consumer products such as Sanest Khanh Hoa bird's nest, Saigon beer, KitKat confectionery, etc., to nearly 2,000 customers including agents, convenience stores, and grocery stores in the province. To prepare for the Tet holiday, we have developed a business plan early and worked with manufacturers to ensure a sufficient supply. In addition, the company has also prepared its personnel and warehouses to meet the demands of the peak season."

“From around the beginning of November, the company started importing products with designs strongly reflecting the Tet holiday, especially boxed confectionery, and distributing them to dealers to promote and introduce the new designs. For confectionery alone, we anticipate the value of our inventory for the Tet holiday to exceed 5 billion VND,” Ms. Tuyet shared.

The confectionery products come in a variety of designs and are decorated in a style that reflects the spirit of Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year).

Preparations for Tet (Lunar New Year) goods are also underway at Hong Duc Co., Ltd. (Duc Tho commune).

Mr. Tran Anh Dung, Deputy Director of the company, stated: "Currently, the company has 5 warehouses specializing in distributing consumer goods to dealers and retail stores in the Duc Tho, Nghi Xuan, Hong Linh, Huong Son, and Vu Quang (formerly) areas. To meet the shopping demand during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse, we have increased our inventory by 20-30% compared to normal days and focused on high-demand items. At the same time, the company has also extended working hours to ensure timely delivery to dealers. With proactive preparation of goods, personnel, and warehouses, we are actively ensuring a sufficient supply of goods to meet consumer demand during the year-end and Tet holiday market."

Hong Duc Co., Ltd. proactively increased its supply of goods by 20-30% to meet consumer demand during the year-end and Tet holiday.

Similarly, Hong Luong Trading Company Limited (Ha Huy Tap ward) – a business specializing in distributing Kinh Do confectionery products – has also proactively increased its supply of goods to serve the Tet market.

According to Mr. Phan Thanh Tuan, a representative of the company, this year the business expects to increase its supply by more than 10% compared to last year's Tet holiday. "Currently, we have imported a considerable amount of goods to our warehouse and are distributing them to dealers, focusing on best-selling products during Tet, especially confectionery and beverages. As in previous years, this Tet season, manufacturers are launching many new designs, with diverse packaging featuring traditional Tet symbols to suit consumer tastes."

Along with distributors, large-scale retail businesses are also ready for the busiest business season of the year.

At Co.opmart Ha Tinh supermarket – a major retailer in the area – the Tet holiday atmosphere has already begun to emerge. Many typical Tet items such as mung bean cakes in gold bars, tin-boxed candies from the Tet collection… have been displayed early with diverse and eye-catching designs. The display areas are designed to be prominent and convenient for customers to browse and learn about.

Representatives from Co.opmart Ha Tinh supermarket stated that this year the supermarket aims for a 5-7% growth compared to the same period last year. Displaying Tet products early gives customers more time to browse and choose. Besides ensuring supply, the supermarket will also implement many promotional programs, price discounts, and Tet gift combos to stimulate consumer demand.

According to businesses, thanks to early planning, the supply of goods for this year's Tet holiday in the area is considered quite abundant, with a wide variety of products to meet consumer needs from affordable to high-end. Proactive supply management will facilitate the smooth flow of goods, contributing to price stability and minimizing the risk of localized shortages during the peak days leading up to Tet.

Furthermore, with close monitoring and management by relevant authorities, the Tet holiday goods market in the area is expected to operate stably, fully meeting the shopping needs of the people during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
