With its large scale and significant investment, the Cam Ranh Bay Urban Area is expected to become a major impetus for urban development in the Cam Ranh region, while also contributing to the socio-economic development of the entire province, especially in the southern gateway area. The project covers 1,254 hectares, with nearly 20,000 social housing units, accounting for over 50% of the total housing stock, demonstrating Vingroup 's consistent commitment to partnering with the Government in realizing social welfare policies. Representatives of the investor affirmed that Vingroup's vision for this project is to collaborate with the province in opening up a new development space, a place that combines modern infrastructure, a sustainable ecological environment, a unique urban identity, and opportunities for "stable living and employment" for hundreds of thousands of people.

Furthermore, the inauguration of the Phuoc Thai 2 Solar Power Plant marks a significant milestone in implementing the central and provincial government's major policy on developing renewable energy, green growth, and sustainability. The plant has a capacity of 87 MW (100 MWp) and, upon completion, will provide an average annual electricity output of 168 million kWh, contributing to the supply of clean energy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting local socio -economic development. Mr. Pham Le Phu, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), stated that although the implementation process faced numerous difficulties, particularly in compensation and land clearance, the project was successfully completed thanks to the close guidance of the Government, the support of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and local authorities. Comrade Trinh Minh Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - acknowledged and commended the efforts of EVN, the Power Project Management Board 2, and related units in overcoming difficulties and completing the project on schedule, ensuring quality and safety; he also highly appreciated the consensus and support of the people in the project area in land clearance work, considering this a key factor for the project to be completed soon.

Infrastructure breakthroughs create momentum for development.
Along with urban and energy projects, the technical opening of the first 20km of Component Project 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project is of great significance. This is a strategic transportation route, opening up an inter-regional connection axis and creating new impetus for development in the South Central and Central Highlands regions. Upon completion, Component Project 1 will connect with Component Project 2 (invested by Project Management Board 6) and Component Project 3 (managed by the People's Committee of Dak Lak province) to shorten the distance from Khanh Hoa to Dak Lak from nearly 200km to 117km. Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested that in the coming time, the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Transportation Projects should continue to closely monitor and decisively manage the quality, progress, and investment capital of the project. For the remaining items, the goal is to complete them before the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse (February 14, 2026) to officially put the first 20km of the route into operation; at the same time, accelerate the construction progress of the remaining 11.5km of Component Project 1 to complete it soon, put the entire project into operation, and maximize investment efficiency.

Also on this occasion, the Song Cho 1 reservoir was put into operation. With a capacity of nearly 110 million m³, the operation of this project will effectively contribute to flood control and reduction for downstream areas; provide stable irrigation water for 4,300 hectares of cultivated land; create a water supply of 152,000 m³ /day for domestic use and tourism; regulate water for the downstream of the Cai River in Nha Trang; and supply water to the Suoi Dau and Cam Ranh reservoirs when needed. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam said that the project will ensure a stable water source for agricultural production and daily life in many areas of the province, improve land use efficiency and improve living standards; and at the same time create a water supply for domestic use, tourism, services, and effectively reduce flooding for downstream areas.

Creating land reserves for people to settle down.
One of the significant projects launched on this occasion is the Van Thang Resettlement Area Project - Phase 1. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien, Director of the Provincial Development Management Board, said that the project has a total investment of over 1,385 billion VND, covering an area of 70.14 hectares, meeting the housing needs of approximately 5,822 people with about 1,446 resettlement plots. This is one of the province's key projects aimed at stabilizing lives and ensuring social security for households that have to be relocated to create land for the development of the Van Phong economic zone. The resettlement area will be built in a comprehensive and modern manner in the direction of sustainable development, contributing to creating a new look for the Van Phong Economic Zone. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ha requested that departments, agencies, and localities continue to coordinate closely and create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule, ensuring quality and efficiency; The investor and construction units are focusing their resources and striving to complete the project on schedule.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Cam Ranh Bay Urban Area Project, Mr. Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated: The province is committed to always supporting and creating the most favorable conditions for businesses to implement the project. Departments, agencies, and local authorities need to consider this one of their top priorities, viewing the investor's success as the province's overall success. They should proactively coordinate legal procedures, shorten administrative processing times, and be decisive in land clearance; promptly resolving difficulties and creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule.
Five projects were commenced, inaugurated, and opened for technical traffic, including: the Cam Ranh Bay coastal urban area; the Van Thang resettlement area - phase 1; the Phuoc Thai 2 solar power plant; the Song Cho 1 water reservoir; and component project 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway construction investment project, phase 1. This is not only a practical activity to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, but also demonstrates the determination to attract investment and implement key projects, contributing to the realization of the Central and Provincial Party Committee's resolutions on the rapid and sustainable development of Khanh Hoa by 2030, with a vision to 2045.
