Businesswoman Madam Truyen: Endless passion for pickleball

(NLDO) - Although she has not been involved in pickleball for long, Madam Truyen, with her passion, has contributed to inspiring and connecting the pickleball community at home and abroad.

When mentioning this businesswoman, many people immediately imagine the image of a "pregnant woman" Madam Truyen who always stands side by side with the amateur football teams "on every kilometer", and is now an avid "follower" of pickleball even though she has only known about this trendy sport for a few months.

Full of energy

After accompanying pickleball tournaments and events in Vietnam, Madam Truyen decided to "go big" by organizing a tournament in Malaysia.

"The ultimate goal of sport is to conquer and bring people together in a common passion. That is why I decided to organize an international pickleball tournament in Malaysia.

My greatest joy is that the tournament is well received and spread strongly when there are more than 700 athletes from many countries competing. We have prepared everything most carefully for the tournament to be successful, bringing memorable experiences to both athletes and fans" - Madam Truyen shared.

At the Grand Pickleball Arena (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) during the Kingtek International 2025 tournament, Madam Truyen, despite being busy, still often smiled brightly, interacted with and connected with people.

So that each athlete participating in the tournament can review their competition moments, "boss" Truyen invested in equipment so that all matches of the tournament are broadcast live and stored on the Baseline system, which is also a partner of the tournament.

Especially in her role as president, Madam Truyen also takes good care of every meal and sleep for nearly 20 members of Kingtek Pickleball Club participating in the tournament in Malaysia.

Endless passion

With pickleball, Madam Truyen also found joy when entering the court. Although the businesswoman from Quang Nam had never played tennis, badminton or table tennis, after only a few months of practice, she made remarkable progress.

At the Kingtek International 2025 pickleball tournament, Madam Truyen boldly registered to compete in 3 events including Intermediate women's doubles, intermediate mixed doubles and Open mixed doubles.

In the women's doubles event, she and Thuy Le won all 4 matches in the group stage and then stopped in the quarterfinals against the home team. In the mixed doubles event, Madam Truyen and her "favorite" partner Nguyen Dinh Chuyen (K99) also had spectacular victories but could not get a ticket to the semi-finals.

The Open result was even more brutal when the pair Madam Truyen/Hoang Thanh Trung stopped at the group stage due to poor goal difference...

"Competing with strong opponents and being pressured by a large Malaysian audience made me a bit nervous. In return, we had unforgettable experiences and also had more motivation to practice for the next tournaments" - Madam Truyen said.

Inspiring pickleball to many players in the area

After the Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025, Madam Truyen has been nurturing many domestic and international pickleball projects. Kingtek's racket products are increasingly known and used by many pickleball players.

The tournament, which is full of "playfulness" by businesswoman Madam Truyen, also resonates in the community and will certainly be organized on a larger scale in the coming years.
