(CT) - According to the Ministry of Finance, insurance business activities in the first four months of 2026 continued to maintain stable growth. The insurance market is gradually changing towards greater transparency and sustainability, with a focus on improving product and service quality and putting customer needs at the center.

Insurance premium revenue in the past four months is estimated at VND 75,600 billion, an increase of 1.78% compared to the same period in 2025. Total assets of insurance companies are estimated at over VND 1.15 million billion, an increase of 10.47% compared to the same period in 2025.

In the coming period, the Ministry of Finance will continue to refine the legal framework and guidelines for implementing the amended Insurance Business Law. Simultaneously, it will strengthen management and supervision in a proactive, risk-prevention manner. It will also accelerate digital transformation and gradually build a database system to serve market management and supervision. Furthermore, it will focus on improving the quality of human resources, training, examinations, and certification in the insurance sector.
