Unique thin mini PC with the shape of a flying saucer

To prove the claim "Fastest Windows PC" Qualcomm launched a mini PC prototype running the Snapdragon X2 Elite chip, super thin with a unique shape.

Can you believe this is a miniPC running full Windows operating system? And it also has the power of the " world's fastest chip for Windows PCs" inside a design that looks like a miniature flying saucer. Photo: VN Review

This is one of the two reference prototypes that Qualcomm introduced at the Snapdragon X2 Elite chip launch event. It was clearly named by the company, however, because of its shape, many technology writers called it the UFO miniPC.

The popular tech site Tom Hardware likened it to someone compressing a Mac Mini into a coaster. Others compared it to a mouse pad.

The entire shell is also covered in a distinctive red color from Qualcomm's Snapdragon brand. The outer shell is made of very sturdy aluminum, with many heat dissipation slots arranged on the shell. The underside is made of regular plastic, with additional heat dissipation slots here. It can be seen that Qualcomm named it Circle 1.

Of course, it's powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor, which Qualcomm proudly claims is the first ARM-compatible CPU to reach a clock speed of up to 5.0 GHz , with a total of 18 3rd generation Oryon CPU cores. It comes with a new generation Adreno GPU and a Hexagon NPU with AI processing power of up to 80 TOPS - making it the world's fastest NPU for laptops.

Although the design has many heat dissipation slots and heat dissipation panels, the inside of the machine is designed without fans (fanless) called Frore AirJets. This is a remarkable achievement, allowing the device to operate completely silently, suitable for environments that require absolute quietness such as offices, living rooms or bedrooms.

With this compact size, users can easily carry it with them, plugging in any monitor, keyboard and mouse to turn it into a complete personal computer. This is an ideal solution for people who are constantly on the go, need a powerful "pocket desktop" but do not want to be tied to a bulky laptop.

Although it is only as thin as the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Circle 1 mini PC is still equipped with many connection ports with 3 USB Type C ports, 1 3.5mm audio port to plug in headphones, speakers or mic, 1 standard DC round pin power port and especially has a SIM slot so you can insert a 4G/5G SIM, too awesome.

Unfortunately, Qualcomm has not revealed much information about this mini PC, so the specific configuration of RAM, hard drive, etc. is not clear. But the USB Type C port is used to output images to the screen, so it is likely that this port will fully support battery charging, data transmission, audio and video output, similar to laptops running Snapdragon chips today.

There's also another prototype that's similarly thin but square in shape and is designed to be mounted on a monitor stand like a very unique All-in-One computer.
