Vinh Tuy Ward launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10.

On the morning of October 6, the Party Committee, Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Vinh Tuy ward launched a fundraising campaign to support people in the provinces that suffered heavy damage caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of Vinh Tuy Ward People's Council Nguyen Quang Trung emphasized that in recent days, storm No. 10 has caused serious damage to many localities, causing thousands of households to lose their homes and property, and disrupting their lives.

Promoting the tradition of "mutual love and support" and "helping each other", the Party Committee, the Fatherland Front and organizations of Vinh Tuy ward called on all cadres, party members, civil servants, union members, association members and workers to join hands with the provinces that suffered heavy damage caused by storm No. 10 with practical actions, contributing to helping people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives soon.

Immediately after the call, cadres, party members, civil servants, employees, workers and mass organizations enthusiastically responded and donated to support people in flood-hit areas. As a result, the ward Party Committee donated 14 million VND; the Fatherland Front and mass organizations of the ward donated 5.2 million VND. All donations will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City to promptly support localities severely affected by natural disasters.

The mobilization of donations to support people affected by storm No. 10 is one of the specific and practical actions of the Party Committee, government and Fatherland Front of Vinh Tuy ward in response to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and attachment of the ward's cadres and people. Thereby, continuing to affirm the core role of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations in promoting the tradition of mutual love and mutual assistance, building the great national unity bloc.
