Doai Phuong Commune continues to launch a campaign to support people affected by floods and rains.

At the conference, Chairman of the People's Committee of Doai Phuong Commune, Nguyen The Hung, said: Recently, due to the impact of storms and floods, many provinces and cities across the country have suffered serious consequences, requiring the joint efforts of the whole community.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the direction of Hanoi city, the People's Committee of Doai Phuong commune launched a campaign to support people affected by storms and floods with the spirit of "Mutual love", "Hanoi for the whole country, Hanoi with the whole country".

The People's Committee of Doai Phuong commune calls on all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to promote the spirit of solidarity, join hands and actively participate in supporting people in flood-affected areas, demonstrating social responsibility and deep human sentiment towards people in disaster-affected areas. The mobilization level for each cadre, civil servant, public employee and worker is at least 1 day's salary, and at the same time, encourage collectives and individuals to support more depending on their conditions.

Comrade Nguyen The Hung emphasized: Every contribution, no matter how small, is a valuable source of encouragement for people who are suffering many difficulties and hardships due to natural disasters. Thereby spreading the spirit of sharing and kindness in the community to join hands to help people in flood-affected areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Immediately after the launch, the leaders of the People's Committee, cadres, civil servants, public employees and staff in the Commune People's Committee directly participated in donating a total of 42,322 million VND. The entire amount was sent by the Commune's Department of Culture and Social Affairs to the "Relief" Fund under the guidance of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City.

Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Doai Phuong commune also launched a campaign to support, calling on agencies, units, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and all people inside and outside the commune to join hands to support both materially and spiritually to help households affected by natural disasters soon overcome difficulties, restore production and stabilize their lives. The mobilization level is that each cadre, civil servant, public employee, soldier of the armed forces, and people receiving salaries from the state budget support at least one day's salary or more; workers support one day's income; union members, youth, and households with average living standards who save on spending support 50,000 VND or more.
