"Along the Sky of Fiery Flowers" by poet and teacher Luong Minh Cu

The Ho Chi Minh City Writers Association, in collaboration with Cuu Long University, recently organized a book launch for the poetry collection "Along the Sky of Fiery Flowers" (Vietnam Writers Association Publishing House) by poet Luong Minh Cu. The collection contains 54 poems, composed by the author over nearly 55 years, covering a variety of themes. Luong Minh Cu's poetry is brimming with emotion, focusing on themes of homeland, revolutionary war, and romantic love, expressed through soft, soaring verses.

Associate Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Teacher, poet Luong Minh Cu, born in 1952, participated in combat in the Cambodian battlefield, the Southeastern battlefield, and the Saigon - Gia Dinh - Cho Lon (formerly) Military Region. He is a member of the Vietnam Writers Association and is currently the Rector of Cuu Long University. This is the fifth poetry collection by poet Luong Minh Cu, following "Horizon of the Deep Region" (1976), "Suddenly Spring" (2007), "Spring Bud" (2015), "I Walk Amidst the Buckwheat Flower Season" (2023), along with many other collaborative poetry collections.
