Improve the quality of dialogue

Over the years, dialogue work in Ba Dinh district has always been highly appreciated and focused on putting into practice. It has a special influence and spread, being an annual activity in schools in the district.

In the 2023-2024 school year, schools in the district will continue to improve the quality and quantity of regular and ad hoc dialogues, proactively develop dialogue content, and forecast situations to ensure democracy, openness, transparency, and focus.

Implementing Plan No. 244/KH-UBND dated August 30, 2023 of the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District on "Organizing a conference to contact and directly dialogue between the Head of the District Department of Education and Training with the team of managers, teachers, staff, parents and students in the whole sector; the head of the Party Committee, Principal, Director of the District Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center with the team of teachers, staff, parents and students at kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, and vocational education and continuing education centers in the district in the 2023-2024 school year", kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools have quickly implemented the Plan; At the same time, schedule and topics, closely following the actual situation of the education sector to organize the most effective dialogue conference between the Party cell secretary - school principal with cadres, teachers, staff, parents and students.

As of September 20, 2023, 11/49 public schools in Ba Dinh district have organized dialogue conferences. According to the plan of the District People's Committee, by October 6, 2023, 100% of schools will complete the dialogue conference.

Direct contact and dialogue activities ensure the direction of the District People's Committee, the leadership of the Party Committee, the close coordination of the Board of Directors and organizations in the school. Promote democracy, equality, safety, and savings. Create conditions for teachers, staff, parents and students in the school to directly meet and propose good initiatives; make recommendations on existing difficulties and problems; give opinions on the implementation of the rights and legitimate interests of teachers, staff, parents and students in the school...

Students and teachers discussed factors that contribute to building a happy school.

In the 2023 - 2024 school year, the Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh district has instructed schools to pay more attention to hot, prominent issues, issues that teachers, staff, parents and students are concerned about such as: School safety and security, prevention of abuse and school violence; building smart schools, happy schools; IT, digital transformation in education; work to build national standard schools, improve facilities; solutions to improve the quality of teachers' ethics, quality of life of cadres, teachers and staff; training and fostering of teachers and students; implementation of QCDC, publicizing internal spending regulations; some orientations on emulation and reward work... Through implementation, the conferences have been highly appreciated by teachers, parents and students; the opinions of the interlocutors have all been answered specifically and convincingly.

Student-centered

In the 2023-2024 school year, grade 4 of primary schools in the district will officially use the content of the 2018 General Education Program in teaching and learning. In order to promptly support teachers, right before the opening of the school year, the Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh district has planned and organized many professional training activities with rich content and diverse forms such as "Improving the application of information technology in teaching", "Effective application of STEM in integration in subjects", "Innovating new teaching methods and forms suitable for the 2018 General Education Program"...

After each training session, schools proactively and seriously re-organized the training content to all teachers of the school so that as soon as the students were stable and in order, the Department of Education and Training organized a number of district-level topics to promptly support teachers of grade 4.

Associate Professor - Doctor Tran Thi Hien Luong - Editor-in-Chief, author of the book Vietnamese - Connecting knowledge with life guides teachers on the content, teaching methods, and innovations of the new Vietnamese language program compared to the old textbooks, and answers teachers' questions.

Lessons use effective teaching aids and tools, harmoniously combining modern and traditional teaching aids to bring students familiar but equally exciting content, with a lively and engaging organization.

During the lessons, students truly become the central characters, experience, participate in group activities, are inspired to acquire knowledge on their own, build autonomy, confidence as well as communication and cooperation skills so that students truly have the opportunity to shine.

Ms. Trinh Ngoc Linh - Principal of Thu Le Primary School shared the difficulties of the Board of Directors and teachers in each school when implementing the 2018 General Education Program, and also expressed her joy and trust when always receiving attention, close direction, timely support and difficulty removal from the Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh District.
