Representatives from the Pù Nhi Border Post and Cá Tớp village organized the inauguration and handover of a house built for a fellow soldier to the family of Major Hơ Văn Ly.
Major Ho Van Ly, a professional soldier, has an elderly mother over 80 years old who is blind in both eyes, his wife and children are unemployed, and his family of six is in difficult circumstances with unstable housing. After 4 months of construction, a house with an area of nearly 100 square meters, complete with enclosed outbuildings, and a total value of nearly 450 million VND, has been completed. Of this amount, the Border Guard contributed 60 million VND from the "Comrade's House" construction fund, with the remainder coming from the family; assistance from officers and soldiers of the Pu Nhi Border Guard Post, local organizations and people in the village.

Upon receiving his new home, Major Ho Van Ly was deeply moved and expressed his profound gratitude to the leaders of the Border Guard Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Pu Nhi Border Guard Post, and the people of the village for their care, assistance in building the house, and gifts given to his family on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd. Major Ho Van Ly affirmed that he will continue to strive to fulfill the tasks assigned by his unit and firmly protect the national sovereignty and border security.
