The prolonged heat has left many forests in the Central region dry and prone to fire. The Forestry Department has warned that 73 locations from Thanh Hoa to Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, and Ninh Thuan provinces are in the fire warning zone at level 4, a dangerous level. To prevent this, people should absolutely not use fire in or near forests.

The Central Highlands and the South are also sunny in the morning. Ho Chi Minh City and some places in the South are still hot, with high temperatures of 35-36 degrees Celsius.
