Vinh Phuc improves investment environment, aiming for sustainable growth

In recent years, Vinh Phuc province has gradually affirmed its position as an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors, thanks to strong efforts in improving the investment and business environment, promoting economic growth associated with sustainable development. This is also a solid foundation for Vinh Phuc to play a leading role in the development of the new Phu Tho province after the merger.

Innovate thinking and comprehensively reform the administrative system.

Recognizing that administrative reform is a breakthrough in attracting investment, Vinh Phuc has implemented a comprehensive set of solutions to simplify procedures, shorten processing times, and improve the quality of service for businesses. The Provincial Public Administrative Service Center operates under a "one-stop shop" mechanism, strongly applying information technology, contributing to increased transparency and efficiency in state management.

For many years, Vinh Phuc's Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) has consistently ranked in the "fair" and "good" groups, demonstrating its determination to improve the quality of economic governance and the investment environment.

Furthermore, the province prioritizes the synchronized development of transportation, industrial, and urban infrastructure to meet long-term development requirements. Large industrial parks such as Ba Thien, Thang Long Vinh Phuc, and Tam Duong II are planned with modern facilities, clean land, synchronized infrastructure, and comprehensive support services, creating favorable conditions for investors to quickly implement projects. At the same time, the province focuses on developing eco-industrial parks, promoting clean, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly production models.

Partnering with businesses towards green development.

Recognizing businesses as the driving force of growth, the Vinh Phuc provincial government always accompanies investors through regular dialogue programs, promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles, while building a stable business environment and fostering long-term trust. The province also implements reasonable and selective investment incentive policies, prioritizing high-tech and environmentally friendly projects.

Vinh Phuc always creates favorable conditions for businesses to develop sustainably.

To support businesses in expanding export markets, Vinh Phuc actively innovates trade promotion activities, strengthens connections with Vietnamese trade attachés abroad, organizes trade fairs and exhibitions in potential markets, and develops sustainable supply chains linked to international standards. Effectively utilizing new-generation free trade agreements such as EVFTA, CPTPP, RCEP... also creates a competitive advantage, helping the province's products penetrate deeper into the global market.

Simultaneously, the province is accelerating administrative procedure reforms, supporting export credit, and training high-quality human resources to serve international integration. Investment promotion activities, improving logistics infrastructure, ensuring sufficient electricity and water supply for production, and enhancing the quality of the workforce are also being prioritized to reduce costs for businesses and attract more new projects.

Currently, the business sector contributes up to 90% of the province's total budget revenue, while also creating stable jobs for approximately 582,600 workers, helping to make Vinh Phuc a bright spot nationwide in attracting investment and developing industry. This is a solid foundation for the province to rapidly move towards its goal of becoming a modern industrial province and a regional center for automobile and motorcycle manufacturing.

Orientation towards high-tech, sustainable, and comprehensive development.

Vinh Phuc province is orienting its economic structure towards increasing the proportion of high-tech industries, technology-applied agriculture , and high-quality services. This is a strategic step aimed at creating high added value, developing the economy while protecting the environment, and ensuring social welfare.

With its strategic vision and decisive actions, Vinh Phuc is increasingly asserting its role as a dynamic, transparent, and sustainable investment destination on the economic map of Vietnam.

In particular, after the merger of the three provinces of Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh, and Phu Tho into a new administrative unit – the new Phu Tho province – this is not only a step in terms of administrative organization but also opens up opportunities for comprehensive development for the entire region. In the new structure, Vinh Phuc continues to play a leading role in industry and services, while also pioneering in improving the investment environment, pursuing a green and sustainable growth model, contributing to creating a solid foundation for the long-term development of the Northern Midlands and mountainous region.
