The journey of preserving and enhancing the value of bamboo by the Thuy Tuyet Bamboo and Rattan Weaving Cooperative not only creates livelihoods for the local community but also preserves and protects a cultural space rich in identity. In "Preserving the Source of Heritage," the cooperative's story continues with creativity, combining it with community tourism, allowing visitors to touch the depth of local culture. Here, visitors can learn about the craft village, learn the craft, experience the culinary culture, and enjoy the dances of the Khmer people...
With "The Flow of Heritage," the story is told in harmony with the rhythm of life. Like the journey of preserving the craft by the family of Meritorious Artisan Le Thanh Quy (Chin Quy), considered a "remarkable figure" along the Nga Bay River. Mr. Chin Quy is not only passionate about traditional Vietnamese folk music but also possesses a unique collection of instruments. Nearly 50 instruments were all created and refurbished by him using readily available materials around his house or seemingly discarded scraps. These instruments are not only uniquely shaped but also practical, creating a new nuance for the instrument, and are named: the four-stringed zither, the three-stringed zither, the five-stringed zither... The instruments are refurbished, but the pitch and timbre remain the same. Mr. Chin Quy's passion also spreads to his son, Le Thanh Nhan, who teaches the instrument and passes on his skills to young people amidst modern life.
In "The Flow of Heritage," enduring vitality is not only found in the stories of preservation but also in the continuity, from one generation to the next, spreading throughout the community to preserve and promote heritage. Like the journeys of preserving traditional crafts, floating markets, or heritage trees... Each story is told vividly, with the multifaceted perspectives of many individuals and communities.
"The Flow of Heritage" is a meaningful program that not only provides information about heritage but also offers an emotional journey about people who cherish traditional values and nature.
