Comrade Phan Van Bac was elected Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Phu Dong district for the 2024

(ABO) On April 23 , the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Tan Phu Dong district, Tien Giang province held its 4th Congress for the 2024-2029 term.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Van Hai gave a speech directing the Congress.

Attending the congress were comrades: Do Tan Hung, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Commission of Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee; Colonel Pham Van Thanh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Military Command of Tien Giang Province; Huynh Van Hai, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang Province; Bui Thai Son, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Phu Dong District...; and 167 official delegates, representing all walks of life, sectors and individuals attending the Congress.

During the 2019 - 2024 term, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district promptly advised the Party Committee to implement the unified action program and key tasks of the Front's work; innovate the content and methods of operation, and improve the effectiveness of all aspects of work. Thereby, achieving and exceeding the targets set out in the resolution.

The Fatherland Front at all levels diversifies forms of mobilization, gathers people from all walks of life to participate in patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, and work to prevent and combat natural disasters and epidemics, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the great national unity bloc in the district.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front has mobilized and received funding to support the construction of 94 solidarity houses for poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances; mobilized the "Repaying gratitude" Fund to receive more than 2.1 billion VND, nearly 2,900 gifts worth 1.1 billion VND; mobilized support for more than 3,600 union member households, association members, and people to renovate their houses, clean up the environment, etc.; contributed nearly 57 square meters ^of land, more than 1,700 plants, and 3,800 working days to build rural roads with a total cost of over 10 billion VND.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Consensus - Efficiency", the Congress set out directions, tasks, solutions and goals for the 2024 - 2029 term.

The Congress elected 51 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, elected the Standing Committee and the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Standing Member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Phu Dong district for the 4th term, 2024 - 2029. Comrade Phan Van Bac was elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Phu Dong district.

The Congress also consulted and elected a delegation to attend the Provincial Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024-2029 term, including 10 official delegates.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province awarded a Certificate of Merit to 1 collective, the District People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 15 individuals with achievements and contributions to the work of the Front for the term 2019 - 2024.
