Accompanying him were comrades: Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong City; Le Ngoc Chau, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Le Van Hieu, Chairman of the City People's Council, Pham Van Lap, Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu visited Mrs. Tran Thi Cai (born in 1940), residing at 180 Dong Khe Street, Gia Vien Ward - a heroic Vietnamese mother, whose husband and son were both martyrs in the resistance war and the war to protect the Fatherland. Mother Cai currently lives with her youngest son, receiving subsidies and care from the community.
In Hai An ward, comrade Tran Cam Tu visited Mr. Pham Huy Hong (born in 1944), a 1/4 class disabled veteran with 81% physical injury, a former soldier of the Truong Son Army, who fought in Cambodia. He currently lives with his son and has always been an exemplary follower of the Party and State's policies.

Visiting, presenting gifts and expressing deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of policy families, Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat affirmed: The Party, the State and the whole society always respect and remember the great contributions of heroic martyrs, war invalids and people with meritorious services to the revolution. He hopes that policy families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, educate their children to follow their ancestors' examples, and actively contribute to the construction and development of their homeland and country./.
