Supporting young people in starting and developing their businesses.

In order to create a favorable environment and promote and support young people in developing their pioneering spirit, innovation, and creativity in entrepreneurship and career development, the Youth Union branches at all levels in the province have coordinated and implemented many practical and effective activities. Through these activities, a favorable environment has been created for young people to develop their pioneering spirit and creativity in entrepreneurship, production, and economic development, making a practical contribution to socio-economic development in their localities.

Pioneers

In 2014-2015, traders in Tam Dao district were buying up golden camellia plants at high prices, putting this valuable medicinal plant at risk of extinction. At that time, Nguyen Duc Do (born in 1993 ) , a young man from Quan Ngoai village, Tam Quan commune, Tam Dao district, who was studying at the University of Agriculture (now the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture), harbored a dream of preserving the golden camellia plant.

After graduating, Mr. Do returned to his hometown and began researching how to grow and care for golden camellia plants. He learned as he went along, and after some time, his golden camellia garden began to grow and thrive, yielding its first harvest.

Seeing the positive results, Mr. Do decided to expand the planting area to 4,000 m2, and at the same time, guided several local households on planting techniques to develop their family economy. Being astute about the market, realizing that selling fresh golden flower tea did not yield high profits and was prone to price manipulation by traders, in 2017, Mr. Do boldly established Tam Dao Golden Flower Tea Co., Ltd., specializing in the production of products from golden flower tea.

Continuously exploring and researching to create quality products. Such as heat-dried golden flower tea , freeze-dried golden flower tea, and tea bags made from tea flowers and leaves. All production stages are strictly managed and closed-loop to ensure that the nutrients in the flowers are fully preserved, bringing the best possible health benefits to people.

In the future , the company will continue to promote research and production of various products from golden flower tea, while also preserving this valuable medicinal resource and promoting and developing local tourism .

Recognizing the increasing demand for car repair services among the public, in 2020, Mr. Khuong Khac Quan , Born in 1992 in Hoang Hoa commune, Tam Duong district, he established Pro Car Trading and Service Joint Stock Company, operating in the field of automobile repair and maintenance.

Shortly after commencing operations , with continuous efforts to improve quality and service, the company quickly established its brand and gained the trust of many customers in the district and neighboring areas.

Mr. Quan said: "The company's factory has a scale of 1,500 square meters." m2, with its modern and professional machinery system and highly skilled technicians, effectively meets all customer needs. Besides its efforts in production and business, the company always focuses on social welfare activities, actively participating in local patriotic emulation movements such as donating gifts to poor but studious students, building model roads that are bright, green, clean, beautiful, and civilized, giving Tet gifts to poor households; donating breeding cows to families in difficult circumstances… ”

Spreading the entrepreneurial spirit among young people.

As a young, enthusiastic, and creative force with a daring and proactive spirit, youth union members in the province always demonstrate a pioneering spirit in entrepreneurship, career development, and economic growth, making practical contributions to socio-economic development in their localities.

To support and create a favorable environment for young people in starting and developing businesses, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has coordinated with various levels, sectors, and localities to implement many activities such as providing capital support; training in entrepreneurship knowledge and the application of science and technology in production and business; organizing competitions to find startup ideas, etc.

The entire province has established 9 district-level startup clubs and 90 commune-level startup clubs , creating an environment for young people to exchange startup experiences, connect with investment funds, organizations, and units to support youth startup projects.

To date, the amount of capital provided to youth startup projects managed, affiliated with, or connected by the Youth Union organization is over 240 billion VND... The effectively implemented support activities have created a favorable environment, promoting and assisting young people in the province in the process of starting businesses, establishing careers, and innovating.

In order to continue "nurturing" the entrepreneurial and business ideas of young people, on December 7, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued the Project "Promoting the spirit and supporting Vinh Phuc youth in starting businesses and innovative startups in the period 2023 - 2027".

To implement the project, the Youth Union branches at all levels in the province continue to closely coordinate with relevant departments and localities to carry out diverse and effective support activities, ensuring they are in line with the actual needs of young people in the process of starting businesses, such as organizing consulting activities, training, and providing information, knowledge, and skills for entrepreneurship .

Supporting young entrepreneurs in accessing capital and investors; enhancing the competitiveness of youth-owned startups and innovative startups; building a network of startups and innovative startups and developing channels for selling youth- led startup products…

At the same time, we will strengthen propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage young people to develop an entrepreneurial spirit; focus on seeking and developing creative entrepreneurial ideas among young people; and coordinate in advising on the formation of support mechanisms to overcome difficulties and help young people start businesses…
