Dong Nai proposes to adjust investment policy for Provincial Road 769E Construction Project Phase 1

Specifically, according to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, after the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 79/QD-UBND dated January 10, 2025 on the implementation of Resolution 68/NQ-HDND dated December 20, 2024 on the investment policy of the Provincial Road 769E Construction Project (section from Long Thanh International Airport to Provincial Road 770B), the unit organized the selection of contractors, signed a contract with a survey unit to prepare a project feasibility study report. Currently, the contractor is conducting a survey to prepare a project feasibility study report.

However, during the survey, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board found that in order for the Provincial Road 769E Construction Project to ensure feasibility, synchronization with other technical infrastructure within the project scope and avoid waste, it is necessary to adjust some contents such as: not investing in 2 bridges at the intersection with the existing Provincial Road 780; adjusting Sau Stream out of the scope of Provincial Road 769E; reinforcing the stream bank from the shoulder of Provincial Road 769E down to the stream to ensure safety for the project at the location of the route through the stream bank area on the left side of the route from Km7+100 - Km7+500.

According to the approved investment policy, the Project of Construction of Provincial Road 769E Phase 1 has its starting point adjacent to Long Thanh Airport, the end point intersects with Provincial Road 770B. The scale of the completed project phase has a total length of 8km. The project is divided into 2 sections for investment implementation, including: Section 1 from the boundary of Long Thanh Airport to Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway depot with a cross-section width of 115m; Section 2 from Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway depot to Provincial Road 770B, with a cross-section width of 95m.

According to the investment phase, phase 1 of the project will invest in building 2 parallel roads on both sides, each side is 15m wide. Along with that, investing in building 4 reinforced concrete bridges on the route, including: Suoi Duc, Quan Y 1, 2 and Suoi Sau bridges. The total investment for phase 1 of the project is more than 1.4 trillion VND, of which, the cost of site clearance is nearly 600 billion VND.

The investment in provincial road 769E aims to gradually complete the planned transport infrastructure system in the province. Enhance the traffic capacity between the key economic region in the South and the Northern provinces and the Central Highlands provinces.

In particular, along with routes T1 and T2, provincial route 769E will connect directly to the area north of Long Thanh Airport, meeting traffic and transportation needs, contributing to the socio-economic development of the localities through which the route passes in particular and the province in general.
