A representative of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board said: According to the Prime Minister 's request, the above two projects must be completed and technically opened to traffic before December 19, 2025. Over the past time, the unit has continuously inspected and reminded construction contractors, however, some contractors have not yet met the required progress.

Therefore, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board proposed to adjust the volume of slow-performing contractors to other more capable contractors to complete the project according to the set schedule.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc emphasized: Both projects have been required by the Prime Minister to complete technical traffic before December 19, 2025. After the initial delay due to construction site problems, up to now, with the efforts of agencies and localities, the project sites have been fully handed over. However, the construction progress of the projects is still slow. Therefore, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Department of Construction are required to be responsible to the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the progress of completing the technical traffic of these projects.

The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board reviewed legal regulations and contracts to take strict measures to handle contractors who have been reminded many times but are still behind schedule. Implement administrative sanctions and, at the same time, require contractors to sign a commitment on construction progress. "If the delay continues, the contractor must be replaced. If necessary, an announcement must be made on the Ministry of Finance's information portal to prohibit these contractors from bidding for new projects in the province," emphasized Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc.

The Department of Construction continues to strengthen site inspections, supervision, urging, and reminding investors to request contractors to speed up construction progress.

The Department of Industry and Trade and branches of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center speed up the progress of completing the relocation of electrical infrastructure systems in the construction areas of the projects.
