Dong Thap: Youth Union members and students join forces to keep the environment clean

(ABO) As part of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and the Month of Gratitude to Heroes and Martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 11, over 50 members, youth and students from Tan Hiep, Thu Khoa Huan, Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Tran Hung Dao high schools who were on summer activities in the locality organized a campaign to clean up and maintain environmental hygiene at the Luong Hoa Lac Martyrs Cemetery, in Luong B Hamlet, Luong Hoa Lac Commune, Dong Thap Province.

At the launching ceremony, the union members, youth and students took care of the martyrs' graves and memorial steles, cleared bushes, weeded, cleaned the environment in the entire cemetery, creating a clean, beautiful and airy landscape.

The campaign to clean up and maintain environmental sanitation not only raises awareness among cadres, union members, youth and students about the revolutionary fighting tradition of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for national independence, continuing the fine traditions and precious ethics of the nation. At the same time, it demonstrates the pioneering spirit of the youth in participating in maintaining environmental sanitation, creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape.
