The People's Committee of Dong Thap province requests that all departments, localities, and relevant agencies and units comprehensively study the content of Official Dispatch No. 23/CD-TTg dated March 16, 2026, from the Prime Minister on a number of tasks and solutions to further promote exports in 2026, in order to organize and implement them locally.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province requested the Department of Industry and Trade to closely monitor developments in the export market, especially for the province's key agricultural products; implement solutions to ensure the supply of petroleum products in the area to serve production, business and consumption; organize trade promotion activities, connect supply and demand, expand consumption markets, and effectively utilize free trade agreements; strengthen the provision of market information, warn of risks related to logistics and technical barriers; and support businesses in improving their capacity to participate in the export market…

The Department of Agriculture and Environment will lead the review and orientation of production organization for the province's key agricultural sectors in line with market demand; improve food quality and safety, traceability, and guide production according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards. It will strengthen quality control and food safety to meet the requirements of import markets. It will develop and maintain codes for growing areas, farming areas, and packaging facilities serving export markets.

Simultaneously, coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade, local authorities, and businesses to develop plans for purchasing, consuming, preliminary processing, and processing of agricultural products, limiting the congestion of goods during peak harvest periods. Coordinate production-consumption linkages between businesses, cooperatives, and farmers.

The Department of Finance, in coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade and other relevant agencies and units, will review the costs affecting production, business, and export activities in the province; and advise the Provincial People's Committee on solutions within its authority to support businesses in reducing costs and enhancing competitiveness.

The Department of Science and Technology supports businesses in applying science and technology, digital transformation in production, quality management, and traceability; and assists in building trademarks, standards, and regulations to meet the requirements of export markets.

The People's Committee of Dong Thap province requested the State Bank of Vietnam, Branch 13, to continue closely following the directives of the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam on monetary, banking, and foreign exchange activities; at the same time, to grasp the socio-economic development situation of the province, and promptly direct credit institutions in the area to ensure safe, effective, and legally compliant credit growth, directing credit capital flows into production and business sectors, priority sectors, and economic growth drivers (including the export sector).
